Today Monday July 5, 2021 marks another milestone for Ibom Air, as the airline launches its Port-Harcourt route. The inaugural flight from Lagos to Port-Harcourt occurred earlier this morning, with subsequent commercial flights from Abuja and Lagos to the Rivers State capital following suit.

According to sources, the establishment of the said destination is in line with Ibom Air’s route expansion scheme, as it now brings Ibom Air’s total number of destinations to six.

Mr. George Uriesi, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Ibom Air assured the airline’s passengers of its continuous dedication to serve with the words, “We want to take this opportunity to assure our passengers that safety and customer satisfaction will remain at the center of Ibom Air’s operations, and we will continue to work hard to meet and exceed your expectations, so that you continue to see us as your airline of first choice.”

Port-Harcourt has today joined the five other major Nigerian cities of Lagos, Abuja, Uyo, Calabar and Enugu, which Ibom Air has been and continues to connect since its inception.
