The Management of Skyway Aviation Handling Company PLC (SAHCO) has reaffirmed the company’s commitment to the fight against illicit drugs by asserting its full collaboration with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
Shedding light on the subject, the Managing Director (MD)/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SAHCO, Mr. Basil Agboarumi said SAHCO’s campaign title “See Something, Say Something, Do Something” speaks volumes about the company’s approach in its fight against controlled substances, as going by the slogan, members of staff are to speak out if they think something is amiss.
According to a press release by SAHCO signed by the company’s Manager, Corporate Communications, Mrs. Uansohia Vanessa Adetola, “SAHCO is a major gateway to import and export in Nigeria, with one of the best warehouses in West Africa. The warehouses which are customs-bonded, are built with the customers’ best interest at heart, with the purpose of maintaining our clients’ trust by ensuring that clients of questionable businesses are not allowed to use SAHCO’s warehouses as gateways for nefarious activities”, it reads.
It goes on to say that SAHCO staff is well trained and equipped at spotting suspicious cargo, and at communicating relevant information to NDLEA and other government agencies stationed around SAHCO’s service points; putting at their disposal top notch equipment such as scanning machines and others, in a bid to support their operations.
